Web Designer
This is a fantastic short-term opportunity for someone experienced in Web design and with skills in HTML/CSS and Flash to make a significant contribution to an evangelistic Web project aimed at young people in the Arab world. Experience with a content management system is required and familiarity with Joomla! is highly desirable. Over and above the person’s talent for designing websites, he/she will also have to think in terms of usability, interactivity, building a brand and understanding the audience well.
Preferred qualifications / experience / personal qualities:
- A qualification in Web design or equivalent related experience
- Experience in using HTML/CSS, Flash and a Content Management System
- A highly creative, but also very detail-orientated person
- Some knowledge of French would be an advantage.
Length of commitment required: Short-term (one month to two years)
