It’s one thing believing that Jesus loves people; it’s another thing realising that He is passionate about you and your family. For one Arab Muslim, it was this revelation of Christ’s personal concern - expressed through the practical medical care of believer - that transformed her life.
Like any mother would, Um Ahmed* became concerned when her youngest son fell seriously ill. Her distress increased when all their herbal medicines failed to bring down the fever, or decrease the coughing. In sheer desperation the son, Omar*, was taken to a Christian hospital in the region. The medic who treated Omar was initially impressed by the family’s commitment to do all they could to save his life.
