Christianity: large population of indigenous Christians; several strong, mature evangelical churches. Small, but not insignificant, numbers of believers of a Muslim background. Persecution in form of pressure from authorities as well as family and society.
Mission work: becoming more difficult for foreign workers to gain/maintain residency, but national Church has increasing burden to reach Muslim community.
Prayer: several believers of Muslim background are seeking official recognition as Christians.
